History Starts With a Story

For over 20 years, I have been tracing my family's genealogy-not in search of birth and death dates, but in an attempt to learn what happened during that space between them. I longed to know the story. Over the years I have learned so much about my ancestors, from the Appalachian Mountains all the way to Europe, and now I share their stories here. This site is a place for fellow descendants to come meet their ancestors and get to know the people who made them. Family history starts with a story. These are theirs.
